As the four grueling, yet vital years of high school have come to a close, many freshly faced 18 or near-18 year olds are now stocking up on weekly planners and year-long calendars as they prepare for their first year of college. For many incoming students, college is a blank slate, offering new friends, bountiful opportunities and newly found freedom away from the confines of mom and dad. With the countless amount of new responsibilities that the college life throws your way, the first year can be pretty overwhelming (We have to buy our own textbooks? I have to do my own laundry?!).
